Clinical study

The SymptoChat Clinical Validation Study (Phase 1) was conducted using a structured vignette-based approach to evaluate the accuracy of SymptoChat’s AI diagnostic tool. The study involved 25 licensed medical professionals from the US and Europe, who were presented with a series of clinical vignettes—each detailing hypothetical patient cases with various symptoms.

These vignettes were designed to simulate real-world clinical scenarios, enabling the evaluation of the AI’s diagnostic performance against established medical expertise. The study’s findings indicated that SymptoChat’s AI achieved an accuracy rate of approximately 92% in diagnosing the presented cases.

This validation phase was a critical step in advancing SymptoChat’s development, leading to its registration and approval on the App Store. The testing process, conducted alongside experienced physicians, continues as the SymptoChat team works on developing new functionalities to enhance the app’s capabilities.
